Cookies are small files that websites save on your device. Some are essential for a website to work; others help the website owner understand how the site is used.
We keep cookies to a minimum. Our fonts and stockist maps do not set cookies, and we never use advertising or tracking cookies. We only set optional cookies if you agree.
These are needed for the website to work, so they do not need your consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| hd_consent | Remembers your cookie choices, so we don’t ask again on every page. | 6 months |
| wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-* | Only set for our own staff when they log in to manage the website. | Up to 1 year |
If we use Google Analytics, these cookies help us understand how people use the website, such as how many people visit and which pages they look at, so we can improve it. They are only set if you choose “Accept analytics cookies”.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart, so visitors can be counted. | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Keeps track of a visit. | 2 years |
Google’s own information: how Google uses cookies.
The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps. It only loads if you click “Show map” (or choose to always show maps). Google may then set its own cookies, such as NID, which lasts 6 months. See how Google uses cookies.
You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings, also at the bottom of every page. If you turn analytics off, we delete the analytics cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the website may not work.
